This Boya Shotgun mic is great because it can be powered by a single AA battery if no phantom power is available. The sound coming from it meets my expectations and then some. I have it connected to a Hollyland wireless mic system and just works. Just wish the storage bag was big enough to hold the shock mount too.

pleasantly surprised. I had a feeling i might be buying insta return worthy trash but honestly it has done the best for me compared to other mics i have tried for my setup. I have a noisy room in which i want to reduce sound except from what its pointing at, me . This does the trick for me. Im no sound expert , just tested different mics on discord etc with friends.

Anyway if you need it for a use case similar to mine, its good.
