BY-M1S Universal Lavalier Microphone

I adore these Lavalier mics for their utility and convenience. The build quality is fantastic, they sound great for the price range, and the pickup is strong! Though they're omnidirectional, I didn't have any noise bleeding from one microphone to the next.However, there is ONE big reason I decided not to use this 2-mic combo for my camera recordings: the headphones do NOT record audio on separate channels!When recording through a 3.5mm jack, the audio is split into 2 mono tracks: left and right. However, these headphones record the EXACT same audio on both the left and right channels. This makes editing my podcast and film projects significantly harder, and we didn't realize this until we threw the sound sample into Audacity.If you need two dedicated channels instead, I would highly recommend purchasing two separate Lavalier self-powered mics from BOYA and using a channel splitter instead! I am currently using the Hosa YMM-261 Dual 3.5mm Stereo Breakout Cable and connecting both my lavaliers into the left and right channels. Seems to have done the trick!If separating channels doesn't matter to you, the cost, quality, and convenience are worth it! Great pair of mics here!

The quality is very good, the price is very reasonable, it is worth buying.

My son gained a contract to photograph and interview a jewelry designer and her new jewelry line which was a perfect set up to give this equipment a try. It exceeded all expectations for ease of use and sound quality. It was easy to transport, and was in use quickly and without any problems at all. Frankly, those who saw the interview and jewelry showing complimented our sound quality as being very professional! This was an excellent choice for his use, and continues to give him good service.

For the price, maybe one should not expect too much..It works? YES!But - the sound quality it pretty mid tier in my opinion. 3.8-4 ish stars.I ended up returning because it did not meet my audio standards. But for most peeps doing casual audio, I’m sure it would be fine.
