Your recordings and transcripts stay on your device by default. Audio is uploaded to the cloud only when you use the Summary feature. Once the summary is generated, the cloud data is destroyed instantly.

Never. Your data belongs to you.
Unless you actively choose cloud sync or Summary, your data never leaves your device. Even then, once the task is done, your audio and transcripts are deleted from the cloud. We pledge never to backup your data or use it for AI training without your explicit permission.

All recordings are strictly bound to your personal account. Without your credentials, no one can access your content via the App. Our backend is equally secured with strict encryption—even our staff cannot access your data.

Once BOYA Notra is linked to your account, it rejects any unauthorized reset or delete attempts. Even if the device falls into the wrong hands, your data remains intact—inaccessible and indelible.

BOYA Notra easily withstands accidental spills or sweat. However, it is not designed for underwater use, so please avoid submerging it or using it in the rain.

BOYA Notra works perfectly on its own. When disconnected, recordings are safely stored locally. Once reconnected, everything automatically syncs to your phone.

1. BOYA Notra uses a "Local First" privacy strategy. Keep these mechanisms in mind for peace of mind:1.Deleted by mistake? 30-day grace period.
Files deleted accidentally go to the App's "Trash" for 30 days. You can restore them anytime within this period; once expired, they are permanently deleted.

2. Low on space? Use the Cloud.
Local storage on Notra and your phone is limited. When space runs low, we recommend enabling Cloud Sync to upload files for safekeeping.

3. Unbind or Delete Account = Data Wipe.
Your account is the only key to your data. Unbinding the device or deleting your account will trigger a security wipe, clearing all files on the device. If you delete your account, data on your phone and cloud will also be permanently wiped and unrecoverable. Please proceed with caution.

Monthly quotas don't, but Add-ons do.
1. Monthly Membership Quota:
Quotas for Starter and Pro reset every billing cycle. Unused minutes expire on your next billing date (e.g., subscribe on the 15th, reset on the 15th).
2. One-time Add-ons:
Separately purchased time packs are valid for 12 months. The system uses your monthly quota first, then taps into your Add-ons.

BOYA Notra uses smart logic: "Expiring Soonest First." Unless your Add-on pack is about to expire, the system prioritizes your Monthly Membership Quota, followed by One-time Add-ons.

Account-exclusive. Non-transferable.
To ensure data security and privacy, your benefits are strictly bound to your original personal account. They cannot be migrated or transferred.

You are in control.
Adjust your status anytime in settings. Even if you cancel, benefits remain active until the billing cycle ends.
