BOYA Notra for Daily Notes: From Recording to Follow-Up
An idea, a customer question and a meeting decision should not all disappear into the same pile of recordings. BOYA Notra can support a capture-and-review routine, but the useful result is the checked note you can find and act on later. Start with one recurring situation instead of recording everything.
Choose What Is Worth Capturing
- A meeting with decisions you must communicate.
- A permitted interview with details you need to revisit.
- A personal idea you want to develop later.
- A phone or Bluetooth-earbud conversation that your model and setup support.
Before recording, explain the purpose and follow the requirements that apply to the conversation and your organization. Agree who may access the file and when it should be deleted. A recording device or AI feature does not establish permission to record or share.
Use a Three-Part Daily Routine
- Before: name the purpose of the recording and check the recording mode, power and available storage.
- After: transfer the relevant file, review the transcript if needed, and create one concise summary.
- Follow through: move checked actions to the task or calendar system you actually use. Keep only the recording and notes you need under your retention policy.
A Small Note Template
Topic: What was discussed?
Decision: What was explicitly agreed?
Action: Who will do what, and by when?
Unconfirmed: What still needs a question or source check?
Source: Which recording or passage supports the note?
Use “not stated” when an owner or deadline was not agreed. Do not fill gaps with a plausible answer just because the note looks more complete that way.
An Example: A Short Client Follow-Up
Suppose a client asks for two pricing options but has not approved a budget. The useful action is “Send two options; budget approval not yet confirmed.” A note that says “Client approved the project” would overstate the conversation. Replay the source before communicating a commitment. This example illustrates the method; it is not a recording or AI output from a customer.
Keep the Library Easy to Search
Use consistent project names and dates. Separate personal reminders from shared work. Add a few descriptive words that you will remember later, rather than a long string of generic tags. When a meeting is complete, retain the approved note in the right work system instead of creating another disconnected copy.
Understand What Happens After Recording
Hardware specifications and software allowances are separate. Check the current BOYA OS plan, included transcription allowance, renewal terms and regional availability before relying on an AI feature. Review important names, numbers and conclusions against the source audio.
Recording does not mean every file has already transferred or that a transcript is ready on another device. Check the file and processing status in the supported workflow before relying on it during a meeting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I record everything to avoid forgetting?
Choose a defined purpose and record only what is appropriate. A small library that you review is easier to use than an unfiltered archive.
Can an AI summary replace my task list?
Use it as a draft. Confirm each action and move it into the system where you track completion.
Which setup guide should I follow?
Use the guide and manual for your exact Notra model; Notra, Neo and Nano have different hardware and recording workflows.
